I finished this book on kindle unlimited and subsequently bought the rest of the series including this one right after. Take that information and do what you will with it.

Also, please find me a man (or alien) who treats me like Vektal treats Georgie cause sis SAME, I would take that glowing tapeworm for him as well.

Please be mindful of the trigger warnings in the beginning of the book. It goes from really dark to sunshine but please protect your mental health first.

“It wasn’t a monster that wanted to eat me, but this monster that wanted to. . . Eat me out.”

I actually liked this book a lot more than I thought I would lol

The plot is actually interesting which I wasn’t expecting to be honest.

I’m definitely going to be reading the other books in this series.

I was not expecting to like this book as much as I did. I expected a quick, trashy, indulgent read. It was that but I also found that I truly enjoyed the story. I felt tense about the characters’ survival, I thought they were lovable characters, I laughed at some genuinely funny moments, and so on. The communication barrier and the short term threat to the survival of the humans on the planet added to the intensity of the love story. The only reason I didn’t give a full 5 stars is because there were some cringe moments too.
mainly the instant pregnancy and the way she was like “oh no, I’m late, I’m definitely pregnant.”

It was what I expected: smut… in space. It is endearing how the characters are handled, which is what kept me reading. It’s a weird little story but enjoyable overall, though I’ll probably never read it again.

While the writing isn’t the next literary work of art Ruby Dixon sure can write a good smut scene. It was a FUN read!

This book has surprisingly good plot, I didn't care much for the smut but not because it was bad, I just was more intrigued by the world Ruby Dixon created
