How to describe a book that does as much as this did? The time span was over two decades, and we experienced a full lifetime with Clytemnestra, who is so strong yet has so much taken away.  It’s based in myth, and the author did a wonderful job of allowing us to vividly see the full lifetime of the queen, who conquered, lost and gained strength. 

I found this incredibly easy to read for a book about a mythology I had no previous knowledge of and loved the way the story was told. I was never sure whether I loved Clytemnestra’s character or found her questionable, but had a wonderful experience reading!
