witty and romantic! the first third was a bit slow but the plot and romance kicked in and made it a page turner in the end. a lovely queer historical romance.

It's not really a gay retelling of Arthurian legend, it's just set in a world where that all truly happened. This was pretty funny and light-hearted and cute and mocking each other for flirting, with a hopeful ending. And I love friendships where there's shortcuts for schemes, like "diversion 1.5."
I would like another book to update what happens next with these characters and trying to make their England a better place.
The injuries were described in more detail than was maybe necessary, that felt a little out of the blue, but otherwise, fun read.

Can I just tell you how much I love these queer stories coming out?! I just absolutely love that there is this YA version of Camelot basically that is all about how two people destined to be forced to be married are both in love with another person of the same gender! it’s also light hearted and it’s not centered around coming out and they get to confide in each other and it actually has a happily ever after. It was a little cheesy for me but most YA books are and Art is VERY annoying but I loved it and it’s a perfect recommendation for my high school LGBTQIA group to read together😍

It was rather boring since nothing much happened until the very end. It was a decent read. Wish more plot could have been sprinkled throughout.

Well I am in love. This book is brilliant and hopeful and fun - like a medieval Red, White & Royal Blue

Highly recommend!

A fun and super cute read! I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump and this was the perfect book to get me out of it!

I'm in awe of this book. Genuinely.  The characters are as real as anything, the relationships feel deliberate and make sense and the writing is spectacular! Gwen, Gabe, Art, Bridget, Agnes and Sidney are spectacularly written and truly wonderful characters. This is my second time reading it and I'm still in great need of a sequel!
