This was a fun read, if not exactly mind blowing. I enjoyed the random trivia, and although the base of the plot wasn’t super firm, I allowed myself to just take the ride, and I’m glad I did!

Way more moving and interesting than I was expecting - a third of the way through I had to stop and slow myself way down to really follow and feel into their emotions and thinking. Very much a character study. Makes me want to re-read the first in this series (and the rest of them too).

Reformed conman Tristan is asked to pull off one more con. While his brother is away on his honeymoon, Tristan is asked to pretend to be him. His fake wife, Kari, is playing the role of his brother's girlfriend. While their acting is supposed to secure his brother a place to live, Tristan's feelings for Kari become all too real.

This was a great second book in the Under the Kilt series. I'm really enjoying Melissa Blue and her Scots.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Fake marriage. High sex to (very internal) plot ratio. Not a lot of worldbuilding.

Really hot and charming, sexy, with two solid main characters.
