This was batshit and not in a good way. It started off great; a woman who's husband died in a car accident where she was driving is holed up in her house and becomes obsessed with an old schoolmate on instagram. And then it just went WOOOOOSH from there, and I was holding on for dear life. What did I read??!! The plot twists got weirder and less believable as the story went on and the ENDING. UM, WHAT? I was so disappointed in this one cause it could have gone somewhere really cool. Also I hated all the characters. Very unlikeable, especially the main one.

What did I just read? That was nuts. It takes a while to get used to the writing style which is all over the place, just like the main characters brain. It is a really quick, fast paced read and will have you sucked in pretty quickly. As the story continues it does start to get a bit over the top and unbelievable which is where it lost me. It was a great plot, but I was hoping for more.

Camilla Brown has locked herself away from the world after the death of her husband in a car crash where she survived but is badly scarred - both inside and out. She spends her time obsessing over people online, in particular a girl she went to school with Valerie. Valerie has a high flying life, travelling around and posting videos from her trips. Camilla starts to notice a man in all of her videos and begins to think she has a stalker. And then Valerie goes missing.

Thanks to Harper Impulse, Killer Reads and NetGalley for my advanced copy of this book to read. All opinions are my own and are in no way biased

There is no denying that the cover is eyecatching, and there was just something about the blurb as well that made me want to read Like Follow Kill instantly. Between the whole social media angle and that stalker vibe, it really sounded like we would be in for a treat... I appreciate the fact that the blurb only gives you minimum facts about the story, leaving lots of surprises and plot twists for you in store to discover along the way. I will keep my review short for the same reasons, as I don't want to spoil the fun, but what I can say is that it would probably be wise not to trust any of the characters and prepare yourself for some very shocking twists. This story takes unreliable narrator to the next level!

This story basically revolves about two characters: Camilla and Valerie. They were once in school together, but were never actually friends and went their own ways afterwards... Camilla is a fascinating character. It shows she has been having issues long before the accident that killed her husband and left her scarred for life... She is the perfect unreliable narrator, her grief, alcoholism and mental health problems in general blurring facts and fiction as you follow her in this story. Her development is thorough and her character is thoroughly flawed as well, and even though she is not exactly likeable she somehow manages to grow on you anyway. Stalker vibe and questionable actions or not, you can't help but feel at least a tiny bit sorry for her as well as admire her for following through with her search. As for Valerie... She is less present, as we mostly see her through Camilla's eyes, but she is without doubt essential to the plot. I never really liked her, but then again we mainly see the polished online version of her... Her character works really well to show the consequences and possible dangers of such a public and online life though, something all too topical nowadays where a lot of people seem to be living through their social media accounts.

The writing is solid and makes it really easy to fly through those pages. The plot is also well constructed and handled perfectly to keep building up that suspense as well as managing to mislead you successfully. Things can be said about the credibility of certain aspects of the plot, but there is no denying that Like Follow Kill was a very entertaining ride with an ending that I never saw coming and left me flabbergasted. Those final chapters are on fire!! If you enjoy reading psychological thrillers with an unreliable narrator and an explosive twist, Like Follow Kill should definitely be on your wishlist.

I’m glad this book was fairly short since it had me hooked and reading it in one , late night, sitting.
Very different and full of twists I didn’t guess the ending or the twists and turns on the way. The main character, Camilla, injured in a car crash of her own making, sets off to help an old school acquaintance. Is she too late ? Has Valerie been kidnapped by a stalker ? Read it and find out !

I thought this book was going to be great when it first started. Inwas really enjoying it. Then the ending just fell flat, it was done very quickly and didn't live up to the hype of the rest. I expected something nitty gritty but it just fell flat.

Having read the majority of this author's work, one thing she can do is tell a tale. Like, Follow, Kill is no different.
The story follows Camilla Brown as she was trying to get her life back together after being involved in a major car accident that killed her husband and left her with physical and emotional scars.
As you are reading, you soon come to realise that she is obsessed with Valerie Hutchens, a popular girl from her school.
Usually with thrillers, you have a clear cut "bad guy" but this book was different. Whilst you are willing Camilla to recover and get her life back on track, there is also something sinister with her online stalking. The flashbacks of her younger life and her relationship with her husband help you put the pieces of her life together and helps you get a good understanding of her life.
The was a fast paced read and as the tension built I found myself reading that much quicker. By the time I felt I had just got off a rollercoaster and I was still trying to process the unexpected ending. Another good read

Dark. Twisted. Crazy! Just the way I like a thriller. Internet stalking - modern and relevant. Old high school acquaintances reconnecting through social media. Realistic. But then strap in for a wild ride and twists and turns I didn’t see coming!

Thank you Netgalley, Harper Impulse and Killer Reads and Carissa Ann Lynch for allowing me to read this advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

Camilla is a pill popping drunk who killed her husband in a car accident which also left her with horrific scars and lasting pains. As a result of the trauma, she has essentially become a recluse and her only communication is via social media. She has basically shut her only relative, a sister out of her life even though her sister insists on trying to help her.

Camilla found a old friend from her high school days and becomes a dedicated follower. Things become chaotic and dangerous when she becomes obsessed with Valerie and worries when she doesn't hear from her daily.

The writing style is like a crazy ride through Camilla's mind and views. Due to the trauma she suffered it triggered several mental illnesses. She has a hard time deciphering reality from illusion or memories. Mix that with alcohol and pain medication and it's a good formula for a book that kept me interested.

Holy crap! HOLY. CRAP. What in hell did I just read?! Because it was fantastic!! This book follows Camilla, a woman who gets into an accident with her husband while driving drunk. She survived with various cuts, scrapes, bruises and broken bones; he wasn't so lucky. Months later she's basically a shut-in. Her only contact with the outside world is her sister Hannah and social media. There's one account she follows religiously: a girl she went to school with, Valerie. But soon after the story starts, Valerie winds up in trouble and in rides Camilla to save the day.

I really liked this story. I read it in one greedy gulp in a matter of hours. Every time I thought I had the story pinned, in came a plot twist to rock me in another direction. By the time the book was over I had been shocked silly several times. The writing itself was so smooth and drew me right in. If you like psychological thrillers with killer twists, do yourself a favor and grab this book as soon as you can!

A very good thriller that had me hooked to the end.

It is something we all do - stalking social media pages of people we know. Like, Follow, Kill takes it one step further and suddenly there is a lot for the reader to deal with it. It was a rollercoaster with one twist after a turn coming fast.
The book is really something that kept pace and was thrilling to read start to finish.
