Reading Jurassic Park and having it be one of my top reads of the year was not on my 2023 bingo card but here we are. The audiobook of this was phenomenal. I grew up watching the movies and while this was my first time reading the book it all just felt so nostalgic. Highly recommend reading this if you’re looking for a fast pace, thoughtful, action packed story that takes you back to that feeling OG films have you as a kid. Though I don’t remember Lex being quite so annoying in the movies.. guess it’s time for a rewatch!

I love reading a book and comparing it to the movie, and usually the book is so much better, but this movie was so well done and well edited, that it will always reign supreme over the book. The book is really good though, and has several scenes that are left out of the movie or used in subsequent movies. Worth the time to read even if you prefer movies
