This was such a fun read! A bit slow in the beginning but really picked up around the 40-50% mark. The banter between Veronica and Stoker is top tier 🤌🏼 I will definitely be continuing with this series.

Literally why did it take me SO long to finish this???? I was languishing on 97% read for so so long. But I really really enjoyed this!! Veronica is perfect as a strong female protagonist and I love all the butterflies. Stoker is a great foil to Veronica as well, and I can’t wait to continue with this series!

What a complete delight. I must admit I am not too fond of the twist that the book centers upon, that’s the detail that keeps this from being a five star read for me. But I loved Veronica and Stoker and their partnership. I’m very much looking forward to more adventures with this intrepid duo.

Veronica Speedwell is my kind of obnoxious.
