challenging dark fast-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Strong character development? It's complicated
  • Loveable characters? It's complicated
  • Diverse cast of characters? It's complicated
  • Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

Eehh the story is a mess and I can't follow or focus on it. I do like the different art style though. It's weird, but somehow it works here. Sad this is my first taste of Elektra outside of Marvel/Netflix's Daredevil. I loved her in that and wanted more and was sadly disappointed with this. Ah well.

genuinely some of the most beautiful art i've seen in anything ever, but the political intrigue did not hold my interest or my sympathy, the story was difficult to follow, and i hated the main character. wish there were more elektra in this elektra comic. that being said, i loved her here.

i have to say, i truly disliked this one. i thought i would be reading about Elektra, but ended up reading about a dude i couldn't care less about and was a total creep.

I had heard that this was an odd book but I hadn't expected quite how odd. It is a barely coherent fever dream with overblown nonsense. Not recommended.
