I enjoyed this volume a lot less than others in the series simply because it was one continuous story, unlike other volumes that tell several self-contained tales, and in fact the story did not conclude in this volume. Personally, I much prefer Conan when the stories are simple and short. I also felt that the stories were a little sillier than usual in this volume. Nevertheless, I enjoyed reading through Conan's adventures, and look forward to the next volume.
