Also, gays on an oceanliner??? Oh I was locked in from page 1!! At first I was a bit disappointed book two wasn't going to focus on Robin and Edwin, I really love those characters. But Maude and Violet are enchanting main characters and their story is touching and wild. I loved the book!

Very much in awe of the character work in this book. Wonderful romance/mystery with incredible character growth and writing. The dynamics between various characters are also top notch, particularly the main two romantic leads.

I had wondered if this book would be as audacious as the first, which it definitely was, but in a new way which I really enjoyed. I am constantly flawed by how well the author is able to write in the mind of another person.
