Lots of things going on. Like the story overall. Thought romance was not necessary. Like the first one better.
I didn't like it as much as the first book but it was still an enjoyable read. The magic system is still fun, I liked the characters and the mystery was interesting.
I can’t wait to read the third book because it’s about Ross and Lord Hawthorn. I love them already, ngl they were the true entertainment in this book!
