This book is inspiring, heart-wrenching and heartwarming, enlightening, strong, emotional, and NECESSARY. This book should be mandatory in schools/ universities. I can not begin to understand what Chanel went through, but there were many parts I identified as a woman. By telling going through what she did, letting her statement get published (how I “discovered” her), and then publishing this book, she has been a lighthouse to many people around the world—myself included. Thank you Chanel. I know your name.

Speechless. Miller is an expert writer who drags us while simultaneously holds our hands through this gruelling, profound, relatable, and most importantly, beautiful journey to justice and peace. It is astonishing, gorgeous, and at times, a breath needs to be taken before picking it back up. Just amazing.
