It always feels wrong to “review” someone’s memoir, especially one of this magnitude. So, I’ll just say this: if she is willing to to give her anonymity along with part of her soul to put this brilliance out into the word in hopes that it shows another survivor that there is hope after trauma, you can take the 15 hours out of your life to listen to her and commit to making this world a better place, however that looks for you individually, because we as a society owe her that and so much more.

it took me longer than i anticipated, found myself stopping the audiobook to just…breathe. this is not a book to review or rate, this is a book to just READ. a MUST read. pick up, read, give it to your mum, your dad, your brother, your friends, your entire family. spread it, make it louder. hear her, hear all the women out there!
