This book is a standalone with amazing characters, and the Maldives, so yes I liked it. Dillion is fun and sweet, such a confident girl, then we get West, your next book boyfriend. They have chemistry off the charts, they are passionate and full of romance. This summer romance story will be emotional and entertaining, with some twists to keep you reading. Definitely a relaxing romance for everyone.

4.5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very cute. The conflict resolution was a little lacking for me but other than that excellent book from Samantha Towle!
Completely unrelateable parental problems from both main characters. Also didn’t like how he only got her back because his coach said his game was horrible and basically he’d be replaced if he didn’t fix it (by getting the girl back). Like he had to have it spelled out for him and didn’t come to the realization himself and he probably never would have. But they were hot and I liked their time on holiday together
Sparks fly off the pages the minute we meet Dillon and West. Maaaaan the lust bug flits between this pair straight away, and as a reader, I knew it was going to be hot when they got themselves sorted.
Whoda thunk that going on her honeymoon alone (can I saw eeeew for how she ended up alone) would turn into the fling of her life.
There's a little sad, a little funny and a lotta sexy between our lovelies. And the setting of the Maldives isn't a hard thing to deal with either (stupid pandemic and small bank account stopping me getting there).
I did want to shake some sense into West at times, however I could also understand his reluctance to take things further (even when I wanted to shake him for being so stupid!)
This was an enjoyable, sexy read that will warm you up on a cold night.

The story was super steamy and got down and dirty quickly. The chemistry was off the charts!
The resolution happened a little quickly for my taste, but that is really my only complaint. Oh, and I want more story! An extended epilogue would totally complete the HEA.
