Let me start by saying this: You can choose your family, and just like with anybody else, if they're too toxic, they should be out. Bravo, Dillon!
Right at the beginning we get transported to the Maldives (already looking to book a holiday there next year!!) and it was exactly what I needed. I didn't just fall in love with Dillon, the heroine, and West, the hero, but I fell in love with the location.
Dillon goes on her honeymoon ... without a groom.
West visits a prime newlywed location ... by himself.
You know where this is going, right? This vacation is turning out to be everything these two need to get away.
Booze and no strings.
But we all know how best laid plans go.
At the end of their two week vacation these loveable characters need to decide wether their boozy vacation fling was enough, or if they want to take it into the real world.
We follow Double D and West through an adventure and some plot twists that I didn't see coming, and now I really wish I could be at a beach, reading this book all over!
Samantha Towle had me lusting after all the right things from page one and I can't wait to reread this when I finally get to laze around on the beach.

If you want trashy, Wattpad style writing, this is it. It was entertaining and fun, however the plot was lacking severely. The characters had little to no growth, and I actually couldn’t tell you a single thing about them.

This book had a good meet cute and was a good quick pallette cleanser.
Soooo good! Best that i've read in some weeks... Dillon and West are super duper cute. Love this vibe "i'm not good enough for you", and at the end he can't stay away from her haha. 5 stars

You’re getting what you think here. It’s a book about a two week stand so it’s spice, spice and spice with a third act break up and all the heart-wrenching angst you could hope for. Dialogue and inner monologue leaves a lot to be desired sometimes but again, you’re mostly here for the spice if you’re picking this up.
Hands down they favourite book I've read this year. Dillon and West were just amazing and I loved their story. It had very steamy and racy moments which certainly was a bonus! And that ending was the perfect ending for them. Well done Samantha Towle on an amazing story.
