Review: 4,5 ster ⭐️

I’m not crying.. you are!

Lacks depth. A book full of telling. Repetitive sentence structure over and over again and no substance other than the literal words on the page.

It’s a good book to read. But it could be a lot more. It’s a story but that’s really it. All characters lack depth and so do the plot, dialogue, setting, emotions, and everything else just as equally. Dialogue is nearly indistinguishable between characters. I of course did cry and was moved a little at the end (I was successfully shocked and disgusted), but like it was also kinda silly. Good read, but it’s kinda giving the over dramatized self destruction of certain teen books, elementary school stories, and white tumblr activism all at once

My favorite book I’ve read this year. I was captivated for the last 2 sections specifically

Mesmerising- had me hooked from start to finish. What a book :)

"You have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity here, Monique. You can see that, right?"
"Of course."
"So do yourself a favour and learn how to grab life by the balls, dear.
Don't be so tied up trying to do the right thing when the smart thing is so painfully clear."

You do not know how fast you have been running, how hard you have been working, how truly exhausted you are, until someone stands behind you and says, "It's OK, You can fall down now. I'll catch you."
So I fell down.
And Harry caught me.

When you dig just the tiniest bit beneath the surface, everyone's love life is original and interesting and nuanced and defies any easy definition.
