And of all seven husbands, only happiness was found with her wife. :( the last sentence on page 385 made me sad but happy, in a way. You know this book isn’t going to end sweet, but it leaves you feeling satisfied, nonetheless, knowing everything had purpose.

connections were a bit surface level, but compelling to read. didn’t do a great job of conveying the time period of each piece of story, so i was lost at times
