What a good book. Mysticism, scientific exploration, cultural sensitivity, and gender studies all beautifully explored in a backdrop of excellent world building on a galactic scale

I'm glad I pushed through this! I loved the complexity of the politics and world-building packed into such a small book. Besides this, I loved the reflections on duality, relationships and genre. I couldn't love the main character, but I was impressed with his development and could understand him. This's a piece worth being called a classic.
