I really loved that Thompson and co pulled in the dangling thread of whatever happened to Andi/Mania from the previous series. It felt satisfying that Flash/Venom stepped up to take responsibility for a young girl they helped create (afa a super “hero”) as opposed to just letting it lie as a forgotten storyline that had nothing to do with their series. It makes the continuity of the character better as a whole and I really appreciate writers that work with the tapestry of a character than ignore it.
