Romancing Lord Ramsbury by Ashtyn Newbold

This was another fun and sweet Regency romance from author Ashtyn Newbold. It develops the gentler side of Lord Edward Ramsbury, the character from the previous two books who's been breaking hearts and behaving rather badly. When his father threatens to disinherit him unless he marries soon, he nerves himself to the task and begins flirting with the first woman he sees, Miss Grace Weston. Little does he know, he and Grace have already met. Three years ago he paid her marked attention at her first ball and then never noticed her again.
Both Grace and Edward have duplicitous reasons for carrying on a courtship, while everyone around them can see that they are genuinely well suited to each other. It's going to take a lot of honesty and a dash of humility for either of them to admit to real feelings, though.
I found this to be one of those fun Regency stories that generally keeps you reading with a smile. The few anachronisms or stretches of belief didn't interfere with my enjoyment.
Favorite part: When Edward shows up at Grace's house, having checked out from the library the exact same book she is reading, and he's all like, "Oh, I thought I might drop by and read with you." Best way to a bookworm's heart EVER.

Thanks to the author for a digital copy in exchange for my honest review!

I enjoyed this, but felt like there was something missing. It felt really fast. They were both kind of manipulative and I didn’t feel/see them changing their ways and falling in love. They just suddenly changed and were in love, leaving me wondering how it happened. It felt like the concept was there, but it wasn’t flushed out well/it was rushed. It should have been another 100 pages to really get into the character’s evolving feelings and backgrounds.

Unfortunately, I “hate hate hate, double hate, LOATHE ENTIRELY” the miscommunication trope. I despise it and honestly I had a hard time with Grace. This is my least face book from this author which is a shame. I’ll still be reading her other ones since I’ve enjoyed those immensely

This series is so sweet! It's a quick dose of fluff, and I am always in need of more fluff. I was excited to see Lord Ramsbury find love after the first two books and Grace was perfect for him.

Grace Weston enters a wager that allows her to seek revenge upon the man whose harmless flirtatious once broke her heart. Lord Ramsbury learns he will be disinherited if he does not marry quickly, and is determined to find the first woman who will have him.

I loved the banter between Grace and Lord Ramsbury, the swoony kisses, and everything in between.

Lord Ramsbury meets his match

I have really enjoyed this series! Love Grace’s attempts to put Lord Ramsbury in his place! He definitely needed it! Great clean regency romance

This may be my favorite sweet little regency novel yet. Forget Pride and Prejudice this is Pride and Stubborn.

"Could you perhaps cancel your afternoon visit with your imagination?” 😍
There were several smiles and a few laughs. Great pace of writing and relatable characters.

I wanted to like this. I stopped reading after chapter 1. The setup is inane and the narrator for the audiobook was unbearable.
