a classic hannah arendt text. that is to say, meticulously crafted, with some great insight  and considerations — in particular the parts on the inverse relation of power and violence —, some fascinating racism, an allergy to anything even approaching intersectionality. and of course, the eternal "source??".

and yet, her writing (sometimes her questions more than her answers) fascinates.

i put this as being "fast-paced" but my background is in political theory and also having read origin of totalitarianism this was a *breeze*

Millor llegir a Foucault x això.

Some interesting ideas, however I found Arendt’s writing far too self-congratulatory for a thesis concluding in ‘when people lose power they resort to violence’.

lol who tf would ever call this "written with clarity" that's ridiculous

This woman is such a bitch when it comes to black people and so offensively not-Jewish-seeming with her sense of ethics (says this Jew, at least) that I couldn't even get behind the few good points she did make, because I was already so angry. Fuck this. On to the next one.
