Wow! Another hell of a ride coming from author Cindy Skaggs! I loved this story just as much as the first, and this series is proving to be absolutely amazing! I love digging deeper and deeper into the sacrifices Team Fear has made and still makes to keep all those they love safe and protected.
Sgt. Rose and Debi are a sexy and complicated couple, and I loved everything about them. There's no denying that Sgt. Rose was all alpha--super protective of his sisters and Debi. And Just like in Book 1, Debi is no shrinking violet. In spite of her panic attacks, she seemed fearless and ready to do her part for Team Fear. Oh, and I really, REALLY wanted Debi's father to meet up with Sgt. Rose so he can get his @$$ thoroughly kicked for they way he's treated his daughter. That would have been a well-appreciated bonus!😂
At first, I didn't think I was going to like Rose's sister, Camy "bumrushing" her way onto the scene. However, she grew on me, and I think she may be a great addition to the team. Anyway, this story rocked in so many ways, and I can't wait to continue with the rest of this series. 💖💕💕
