Slow burn. I love that this book intertwines reality with fairy tale elements in the sense that it shows that you need to get to know somebody first, before settling down with them. Definitely a storyline most females can relate to. I could picture the story happening as I was reading it. I hope at some point they make this into a movie, like 50 Shades but under the sea style!
There’s a lot of good in this book. However, it is way too long and gets stuck trying to do too much in a new way.
I enjoyed it and the sexiness is on point.
I loved the sea witch and his whole backstory. All of the stuff tied to “Prince Erik” got a bit rambly and I herbsed it.

i need to read more books with ugly covers cuz this book was literally amazing.
I had hopes when I bought the book. I didn't know how high the hopes were, but I had expectations for a good book. This exceeded my expectations. It got me in the right mood, it didn't drag on, the spice was spicy. There's a lot of good things happening in this book. Definitely recommend.
