3.5 stars, I guess. This was kinda nice to sink back into a familiar plot and cast of characters; picking up where 28 Summers left off as well as filling in some historical details. But, I didn't love it quite as much. Cute, a little fun, but a bit of an eye-roller.

3.5 stars. Liked catching up with all the characters but not a fan of the ending!!

A nice little follow up story to 28 Summers. It brings you back to all of the characters after Mallory's passing when they plan a get together at Mallory's house. It also picks up on Mallory's son and Jake's daughter when they meet up by accident after not seeing one another since the end of the first book. I wish Mallory was still alive to add to this story but I liked reading about characters that I'm familiar with and seeing how their lives have been and are in the future.

Just like the others are saying, short and sweet! It was good, sunny and kinda sad but I did like to see where everyone is now. It was kinda like an extended epilogue since we didn’t get much of one in the first book.
hopeful inspiring lighthearted fast-paced

I was quick to fall in love with 28 Summers. The energy and palpable love between Mallory and Jake was intoxicating to read. It really transported me to Nantucket and I was invested in their relationship.

I was not satisfied to reach the ending and see that Mallory and Jake did not get any more than the Labor Day Weekend once a year. They deserved each other and should have done whatever they could to be together.

Now coming to this add on. I loved revisiting the characters and seeing how their lives changed after Mallory’s passing. However, I was extremely disappointed in the ending. Jake deserves Mallory. And sure, he has a history with Ursala. But there is a reason their marriage didn’t work. DONT GO BACK TO HER!

I still love these books and remains one of my favorites.
