A novella length follow-up to 28 Summers, which I highly recommend reading right after you read 28 Summers (uses the same narrator as well, so if you listen the audiobook is once again fantastic). It catches up with everyone in the summer of 2023, three years after 28 Summers ends. The (almost) original group from the first summer return to the beach house in Nantucket to relive that Labor Day weekend after decades of life between them. It was the cherry on top to the conclusion of 28 Summers, yet left room for more if Elin ever wanted to revisit this story. 4.5 stars
Love the way this tied up loose ends from 28 summers… HATED that ending about Jake!! OMG!!!
