This was a brief but enjoyable check-in with the characters from 28 Summers. While it was nice to revisit their storylines, I'm hoping for a full-length follow-up in the future - partly because I didn't love the ending and I'd like to see if things go in a different direction with a potential future installment.

This was a nice little addition to 28 Summers that I read last year and actually wouldn't mind if several authors provided updates on characters that readers come to know and care about although I do realize that that is very unrealistic:-)

Parker, Cooper, Leland and Fray come back together at Mallory's home in Nantucket to relive their first weekend there 30 years ago after Cooper proposes to Stacie and she turns him down(for good reason since he had been married 5 times before).

This book touches on all of the main characters in 28 Summers and it was nice that I could read it all in one day here and there.
