A bit of Asimov's fascination with the physics of time travel overcome by his warped view of women, sex, and female bodies as a distracting force to male scientific inquiry.

It is my habit to keep a book with me in my purse so if I get stuck waiting somewhere, I have something to read. Unfortunately, this often means that my intake of these books is... choppy and disjointed, so I think my impression of this one suffered a bit because it was my purse book for a long time.

Still, it was enjoyable, and eventually I promoted it from Purse Book to Fun Book and sat down and finished it rather quickly. I always love Asimov (well, almost always) and this is, I think, perhaps the only Asimov I've come across where he actually bothers with a love story.

Excelente libro, verdaderamente atrapante.

Incrível, obrigada Eduardo Pannain!!

I just finished Isaac Asimov’s “The End of Eternity” (for school, obviously). Was very pleasantly surprised with the twist at the end, *almost* redeemed all of the previous misogyny related issues earlier in the novel. I’d give it a 3/5 stars

Literally the last monologue is what makes this book worth it, but before that it just felt exist and weird. At the end all was well but it's hard to get past the 150 pages of meh. I am happy though that this book was so short because it really did serve to push all of the meaning and impact to the very last page.
