"The Circus Train” was an enchanting book that truly captivated my heart. I was thoroughly engrossed in every aspect of it, particularly the author's writing style. The seamless transition from one time period to another, coupled with the multiple perspectives, added a layer of depth that I found truly engaging. Historical fiction isn't typically my go-to genre, but this book completely won me over. As I delved into the story, I couldn't help but fall in love with Lena and all the other well-developed characters. Their journeys and transformations throughout the narrative were truly remarkable. And the way the story concluded was the icing on the cake, leaving me with a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction.

My favorite BOTM pick so far this year. It was a little slow going at first, but it picked up and finished strong. I'd say it's the perfect blend of character/plot driven.

A little slow in the beginning but this is a very well told, character driven story. I loved the historical-ness blended with the circus scene 🎪 

I also really enjoyed the aspect of the handicapped/disabled side of the story and the few twists that we see glimpses of coming but have no idea where they are going until the end!
