Ns si soy muy picky pero odio cuando algo esta hecho por "hispanos" pero solo dicen 2 o 3 palabras en español, ya debería ser considerado un crimen lmao. Yo se que es hipócrita decir eso mientras reseño con algunas palabras en inglés pero genuinamente me molesta ver este tipo de obras. Si mal no recuerdo sólo hay de 3 a 4 poemas en español y el resto es todo en inglés. Cual es el punto de decir que estas 100% orgullosa de tu herencia hispana si tu obra es en inglés. Le iba a dar 2 estrellas pero no fue una mala colección de poemas, solo fue una cosa que me molesta personalmente.

Cisneros has a command of the written language I can only dream of. Her vocabulary is vast, yet the poetry is not inaccessible. I only wish I knew more Spanish to fully comprehend her writing!
Sandra Cisneros has taught me that poetry doesn’t always have to rhyme or make sense. I’ve enjoyed this collection of poetry because it was raw and honest.
