An amazing action packed novel! I love this world and the twists are entertaining and nervous-making. Frey (and Rafia) are a fascinating, complicated relationship to excavate and I can't wait for the next one in the series.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ THE ENDING OMGGG! I need the next book in my arms as I type this. Lovedddddd the plot twists!!
Holy crap. This book was so filled with edge of your seat action and thrilling battles. The ending just about killed me, I cannot wait for the 4th book!
I love this series. It taking me back to my "Uglies" days. Book 3 picks up right after book 2 and it's even more wild and unpredictable as the first. I love the world building and learning more about twins and their differences. The ending of the book made me so happy. Let's just say that the moment I was waiting for finally happened and I screamed. I can't wait for book 4.
Lots of weird twin energy, hover boards of course, and a surveillance system to the max.
THE ENDING IS THE BIGGEST “HOW DARE YOU???” CLIFFHANGER, 5 stars, would suffer again

Westerfeld has long played with identity and personhood in this series, and I've been very impressed by the long development between Rafia and Frey explored in this series. I think the addition of the city AIs as characters are also an interesting development. Nice ending teaser too.

This is a great entry in the series! I said in my review of book 2 that I wanted Frey to have a more front-row seat to the action, and she definitely does. She's forced to confront the immediate consequences of her actions in this book, and it's captivating.
Also, if there's one thing Westerfeld can do well, it's twists. The big twist in book 2 was amazing, and the big twist in book 3 did not disappoint.
