I'm so confused, but is that a sign of a good book or a bad one?
Part of me wants to give this a 1 star, something I never do, simply because of the pain of the death towards the end. Everyone is talking about it being horrible that we have to wait with this cliffhanger about Tally, but wtf am I supposed to do with the whole Cole thing?!?! Westerfeld was so nonchalant about it too, like the only one who actually cared was Frey. I care too Frey, I care too! Regardless I have to give this a 4 stars, but it would have gotten 5 if not for that scene. I've been reading this series since it first came out in 2005, I named my first pet ever Tally, but you're killing me Westerfeld! Now I'm just waiting for the next book, but honestly I don't think I'm super excited by it, I'm just expecting him to kill everyone I love off.
I've been reading Scott Westerfeld for 10 years and I still get sucked into his characters and their world. Absolutely love the journey they take you on.

Nice lil twist at the end, but I wish the plot throughout the series was less predictable. Mirror’s Edge was edited better than the second book, but there were still a few distracting mistakes.
