Author is very clearly a privileged (white and thin) person with very little expertise in research or nutrition. The book was so repetitive and self-centered, I honestly couldn’t finish. I agree with the premise of intuitive eating, but this book wasn’t it for me.

Gave it a star for having some good info in terms of doing internal work on beliefs and thoughts that are holding one back from achieving success. Otherwise, there is too much cherry picking of study findings & "facts" to be truly scientifically backed.
The premise of the whole book is to just accept your weight as it is and eat whatever the fuck you want. Well that's just dandy, saying fuck it and eating whatever I want is how I became overweight in the first place.

Honestly, this book changed my life and how I think about food and eating. However, it is absolutely for folks that live with a certain amount of privilege.

[Listened to the audiobook]
There were some elements I liked in this book, such as relieving the stress we put ourselves under to look good and be perfect. I think it's good to focus on what matters to you personally, and to take care of yourself - which is a big message in here.
I think some elements of this book are triggering and won't mesh with every person who is struggling with their body image / diet / weight, etc. I found I needed to take a couple of breaks while I was reading. I would even say to be mindful before jumping in to any diet book, make sure you are in an OK headspace.
