I don’t remember the last time I read a book this fast, but I couldn’t bear not knowing what was going to happen next! The tension & pacing of the plot were so well done, and it kept me guessing until the very end. It was such an insane & twisty story, but I wish the ending was a bit more resolved. Overall, a great creepy, mysterious thriller!

3.5/5 - I sped through this book quite quickly. I was simultaneously intrigued and disturbed. I liked the unique writing style with the two POVs, the podcast, and the Netflix documentary sequences interspersed. The book was dark and had intense themes. I didn’t necessarily like the ending, which left some of the plot open to interpretation. I personally would have preferred a more cut and dry ending, but that’s a personal preference. It kept me engaged, but I don’t think I would read again. Need a lighter read after this one.

It was really good, but I wouldn’t recommend it, at least not without a full list of trigger warnings😅

The audiobook though 👏🏻so good👏🏻 one of the best audiobooks I’ve ever listened to! The voice actors gave it there all and really sold me the story, so much so that it felt real

Incredible audio book! Finished in a day!! What a tale. I felt each twist and turn. I still need to process the ending/the whole thing!! I feel like I need more information and more of a resolution, but I get the insight that part of what we must grapple with is our insatiable relationship with true crime, and wanting to try things up with a bow. First LJ book but won’t be my last!
