This was an enjoyable read, moved quickly. I chose it based on the description and the concept. I like maps so thought it would be an interesting subject - was interested in the academic side of it. On those fronts it delivered. But the ending… I just couldn’t get over the plot holes. I feel like I have at least 3 alternative plans that didn’t mean one woman being alone in a town for literally 30 years. So, that was a bit of a letdown but I did enjoy and finished in basically 24 hours.

We get it; you like maps. Ugh, this book had such a shaky plot that it was hard to get through.

This book was super slow for me at the beginning then got interesting but I disliked the ending a lot. I couldn’t understand what was motivating the characters and why Agloe had to be this massive secret, like what was with Wally?! The last two pages were fun and a neat ending, I guess, but didn’t redeem the whole thing for me enough.
