ok that was actually good. sweet ending and all

I was very skeptical about reading this series bc Apollo is so annoying in the first book, but it seems this series was all about character growth and I'm actually so here for it

I absolutely adored this series. I think it might even be Rick’s best written series. I’m glad he was able to fix some of the issues he created in HOO, as well as set up for some new novels.

Apollo is such a well written anti-hero and his development was wonderful. Meg also had so much depth to her storyline and personality. The way Rick tackled complex family dynamics and the trauma of abusive authority figures made this series more mature than his previous.

There were so many important issues touched on while showing friendship, kindness, and humanity prevailing.
