It’s my first time reading this author and she didn’t disappoint. I loved this book; it was the plot that intrigued me to buy it, though I must say, everything was a bit convenient. I expected it to involve more of the London society and to be political.

I was surprised how steamy this book was; there was a plot, though not a smooth one — but it’s not just erotica. It’s a very sensual book, but because the author writes well, I’m not mad about it.

I enjoyed my time, I loved Sin and Callie; I found their banter hilarious. I do wish there were more conclusion to certain loose-ends, like Sin’s mother. Like I said, I thought this would involve more of the ton and reputations similar to most historical romance but it’s okay, I enjoyed the romance between Sin and Callie.

Will definitely read the other books in the series!

just a case lot of saying and not showing, sin honestly gave me a headache, i can't honestly say the things he did was justified, he also had way too much leverage over the situation so the boring banter between them didn't even work, honestly in my eyes their relationship does not work for me, especially sin, i can't say I like that man, he's just a bunch of terrible decisions stacked upon each other. why did I even finish this istg

I haven't read a hate to lovers rec that has so much hate at the beginning before. They were perfect in hating each other for thier own reasons, and the story unfolded brilliantly as did their love.

Westmorlands return was just the right nudge the ending needed to prod the distrust and prove what they felt for each other.

The only thing that stops it from being a 5* is the sudden appearance of Celestes diary at the end....after a year....just seemed to come out of the blue and solves what happened.

Oh, this was a delight. I'm not crazy about some of the tropes in this one, but I adored Sin. He was just the best. I wasn't overly shocked by anything that happened, no massive twists or turns. But it was a super fun ride. Will be looking into more by this author for sure.
