Interesting way to explain how the quantum theory was developed by a bunch of re-markable brains.

It's an amazing real history of one of the most important topics on modern physics.

It's one of those books which is very fun to read, makes total sense, quenches your curiosity, inspires you to read more on physics... but at the same time, you know deep down that you are going to forget everything in probably two weeks time

I may have overestimated my own ability to understand this book's content. To be fair, the info is presented as basically and simply as possible. But it's quantum theory. So you should have at least a minimum of understanding of physics to really get the most out of this book. I didn't, so unfortunately, a lot of this went over my head. But the things I did understand were completely fascinating! The graphics also added a nice break from the complexity of it all.

Not even a graphical guide can do anything to help you understand quantum physics.

But don’t feelbad. As Feynman said: “If you think you understand quantum physics, you don’t understand quantum physics.”

Surprisingly different than I thought. Tries to follow the history of quantum physics and doesn't shy away from math. I actually learned some new aspects I was unaware of before. Does need some solid understanding of physics though, not for beginners.

Actually sort of useful ( not a good introduction at all, but, has illustrations of some of the expirements which most books don't )

Irgendwie hatte ich den Eindruck, dass der Autor sich zwischen biographischer und historischer Notiz und Ausführungen komplexer Inhalte nicht entscheiden konnte. Die Mischung ist leider nicht geglückt.

Definitely not an entry level to quantum theory. The packaging as a comic could be misleading, though the content is mindboggling and it gives an extensive overview over the historical developments and even dives into mathematical formulas. Quantum theory is very abstract and hard to grasp in general...at least for non-physicists... I have the feeling, that without a preexisting solid basic knowledge in physics and chemistry, a reader would not get very far... at least not quickly and without additional literature.
