I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It sort of reminded me of Knives Out. It is full of puzzles and has you questioning who you can and can't trust. I am fully invested and this book reveals some answers but leaves you with a few more! The Hawthorne brothers each have their own intriguing factors and I can't wait to see where their development goes. I'm fascinated by Avery and how wealth is going to impact her and her relationship with all the brothers - I feel like this book was just scratching the surface! I also didn't hate the little love triangle that almost got going!!

Currently in my 'uncertain of how to feel about you' category:
- Libby
- Rebecca
- Zara
- Thea

In the 'please don't return in the next book' category
- Drake

such a fun exciting read! loved the house and the riddles and the scones and the plot twists at the end made me gasp so i’m looking forward to continuing the series

3.75 stars rounded up to 4 because avery did Not need to be attracted to any of the brothers, especially multiple brothers, before the dna test results came back and we were sure she wasn’t related to them
