I feel this story is just that bit too farfetched for my liking. The writing is clunky in places with overexplaining, repetitive phrasing and too much modern slang and a few Americanisms slipping in. It also suffers from what many P&P fanfics do - regurgitating chunks of the original.
I felt it was rushed and so their change of heart felt forced. I felt that their rehearsal would not have been legal without banns or a special license registered in their names and a marriage certificate signed by both so they would not have entered a marriage by accident. It was a point I would have forgiven if the rest had been executed better.

In this variation Darcy's plan to forget Elizabeth Bennet is to propose marriage to Anne deBourgh.
As they all descend to Kent a rehearsal marriage ceremony is arranged so that it can be timed, with Darcy and Elizabeth as the bride and groom. What could possibly go wrong?
Another novella I would have liked to have been longer.
