It started off pretty slow and some parts stayed that way, but it did get better later on. The plot twist really surprised me!! I didn't see it coming at all, which made it more fun to read. Some of the characters were interesting, and the story kept me curious enough to finish quite quickly!

This was so good! I didn’t read the first in this series but I don’t feel it’s necessary to enjoy this book. That being said, you’ll want to go back and read the first after you finish this one. I really liked the characters, especially Sami. The mystery was well done and interesting. I enjoyed every minute of it!

I both listened to and physically read this book. I loved the narrator! His voice was enjoyable to listen to, had good pacing and enhanced the story.

I generally love Harlan Coben's books, but this one just missed the mark for me. It was fast-paced, fun and silly at times, and there were a few decent twists, but the plot was just not at all believable and I was bored for most of the story. Sami's constant stream of consciousness throughout was also a bit overkill.

Another good thriller from Coben with a new protagonist and his interesting backstory.
