i can't believe this book is even real how tf is it so good
Das Buch hat mir grundsätzlich sehr gut gefallen aber für das Ende gibt es einen Stern weniger.

Well, this was the last book of 2024 to finish my 52 books challenge and it was... Kinda disappointing.
I mean, I enjoyed this book enough. The ending was pretty great but the 2nd quarter of the book and the last quarter kinda lost me at times. I feel like it will definitely require a reread in the future, however I feel 2025 will bring me more dense fantasy books.

I loved the character development and I got super attached to Artiom
Zabierałam się do tej książki zdecydowanie zbyt długo (jednocześnie polecając ją wszystkim dookoła, "bo jest super, trust me"). Nikt się nie zawiódł, ja też xD
Było super, każdy bohater pozostawił sobie jakikolwiek ślad. Bardzo podobały mi się kreacje wszystkich dzieci, niewiele ich było ale były w jakiś sposób ważne, duży plus.
Nie wiem na ile to przez to, że wczoraj skończyłam Diunę, ale czytając dzisiaj zauważyłam sporo podobieństw. Wszystkich, którzy czytali obie pozycję, proszę o potwierdzenie lub zaprzeczenie (hey, religie, wizje, czerwie, itd.)
Moje czytanie przeciągało się z niewiadomych powodów w sumie. Miałam z tą książką jak z grami komputerowymi, siadałam i w jeden dzień czytałam dużo, bardzo szybko się wciągałam żeby po odłożeniu książki nie wracać do niej przez następny miesiąc. Bo tak.

I just couldn’t get into this at all, there were certain parts I really enjoyed, I liked the many people Artyom met along his journey and the ending was so so good but I found my self skimming over conversations that just went on too long or random paragraph long rants some of the characters went on, it was too much. I read this as my husband is about to play the game and I do think it will translate really well to a game, it definitely has that vibe to it!
