I enjoyed reading it but to put my criticism in simple terms Pulley's writing has gotten better in Kingdoms.

Also would like to make it known that I really like Grace (how she was written, not her personality).

Batshit lady set off a bomb to get her lab. She's very, very complicated in a way that doesn't bother much with redemption and I'm cool with that, it makes her interesting.
