This is a solid conclusion to the two book Magical Boy series. Does it play into some tropes? For sure, but in a very conscious and fun way. Recommend middle school and up!

This is going down as one of the most triggering books I’ve ever read lmaooo definitely top 3 💀 I was STRUGGLING.

Anyways, I liked this a lot & I wish super happy & perfect endings existed like this irl. I guess sometimes they do. Love that.

I would happily read a slice of life graphic novel about Max’s gang <3 pls consider it @author.

I genuinely cried over the last few chapters it hit so close to home for me and was so sweet, The Kao's storytelling and art are so great.
