This book is a classic and something I have wanted to read for awhile and just never got to reading it until a couple months ago.

This book is written in a way that each individual person will have a different perspective on different events that happen throughout the book. One thing that really caught my attention is how plausible this book is to happen if certain events in history occurred differently. In my personal life, I grew up going to church every Sunday. I went to a protestant (Christian) church that was not really modern but not super old fashioned. One of the core follows that was preached within the church is that female's were made to follow men and whatever the men said was final no matter the input of women. The church had no female leaders (unless it pertained to children i.e. nursery and children's church). They also believed that a women's main purpose was to get married, have children, and raise said children to be followers of Christ. What does this have to do with the book you may ask? Well in a sort of way, it follows these teachings. The USA was founded and still praises its freedom of religion and many of the politicians that get elected today are very religious (or so they say). This all leads to if a majority of the government got killed in a single action and the country itself was thrown into anarchy/dictatorship, it could lead to big pockets of communities becoming cult like based on religious sentiments in this book and trying to absorb other communities to their believes through force.

That was a long thought that I had to let out but something that interested me quite a bit. This is a great book and its a book many should read. Many people (especially those in religious circles) may hate this book due to what it shows certain beliefs can lead too, but I think it is important that those people read stuff like this to keep things anywhere resembling something like this to occur. Because, these values don't need to happen in a dystopian USA, it happens in the world we currently live in today and those values should be discouraged from happening.

An important piece or work for all generations. They are banning this book in an effort to stop people from reading it and that is exactly why you need to read it.
