Read after long on my list. Her short, clipped writing style with a plethora of commas was hard to get into at first. Main character was very interesting. Wish more of her mother or Serena Joy in it. The epilogue (no spoilers) could have been another book. Sad it ended there! Very timely subject matter and reminiscent of 1984 and Fahrenheit

Absolutely life changing, the sign of a real five star read.
Even A-level English Literature couldn’t ruin this book for me. That should be a testament to how amazing it is. I constantly kept asking myself how in the world these sentences were able to come out of someone’s brain. Margret Atwood, you bloody genius.

This book should be a required reading. I found myself more horrified by this novel than I have been by any other book I've read in the "dystopian" genre. It genuinely put me in a terrible place mentally as I reflected on myself, my own life, and my privileges, and it forced me to consider how quiet I've become as a person. It inspired me to be more protective of the rights I take for granted and to do more for the other women in my life. I couldn't put this book down and I'm so glad I finally picked it up.

I need to come back to write a review but damn. Read it. Share it.

I’m not a super quick reader but I finished this in 2 days.
