I have been reading Jaymin Eve for a while and she always does a good job of creating really independent and interesting heroines in her books. Mera is definitely that. I think my one comment is that this book feel a little flat compared to the first book in the series. The plot felt a little rushed at times and the cliffhanger felt a little forced compared to the first book. That said, I'm interested to see how the series will finish out and if you like a good supernatural romance that is on the spicier side you may enjoy this one.

Loved it better than book 2!!!
This story was epic and most of all, it addressed the growing attraction between Shadow and Mera. I enjoyed the whole storyline and loved the cliffhanger—-great hook, even if I’m left wanting more!!! Looking forward to an epic conclusion!

Mera developed so much in this book. I couldn’t put it down. Her no bullshit attitude and snarky comments kept me saying one more chapter. Her development with Shadow will make it so much sweeter when it fully blooms. I can’t wait to read their finale

Well this certainly spiced things up. Like a lot. Mera and Shadow, Shadowshine. I loved it. This world is fun and the plot did not lull. It has a nice mix of unique characters and creatures. There is a ton of exciting adventure and it just reads so easily. I enjoyed Mera. I loved the she brought light to others despite having such hardships in her life. And I loved the chemistry between Mera and Shadow. It ended in the biggest cliffhanger and I immediately began reading book three.
The heat of this book is top notch. I mean I have read my fair share of smut, but this was way up there in the rankings. Vivid descriptions and incredible details make this biggest differences. Bring a fan!!
