I loved the premise of this book but unfortunately the pacing and the writing style meant it didn’t hit as well as I was expecting it too. I honestly found myself enjoying the interactions the mmc and fmc had with the side characters more than the interactions they had with each other. I did really like Reese, our fmc, and the journey she went on throughout this book.

I love the Runaway Ranch series!!!

Ava is a master at showing character growth: Reese Austin has GONE THROUGH SOME SHIT but comes out the other side confident and brave. It’s important to learn to love yourself before loving others, and Ford helps Reese do that.

These books make me want to move a the small town in the middle of nowhere.
