Solid quick read.
A cute small town romance layered with some heavier topics and a suspenseful ending.
Reece and Ford were fun, sweet and a little wild. They struggled to tackle some difficult topics but who doesn’t.
There were a few parts that felt slow but it was mostly a well paced book that moved the story along. I was happy to see peeks into the other’s lives. Especially the women, the brothers pissed me off more than once. Which was a shame. Kind of dimmed my prior opinion.
Over all it’s a win! Now for my girl Fallon!

There were so many tropes in this one. A grumpy cowboy/former baseball player meets a runaway rockstar hiding from her lecherous manager and hoping for a fresh start. Oh and it’s age gap and romantic suspense too. Somehow it all works though! Really enjoying all these Runaway Ranch stories.

ava hunter is just that girl like….she is my elsie silver. i love everything about this series like the fmcs stories are always so unique, the mmcs are amazing, and the family unit in this series to me is so much stronger than other cowboy/small town romances i’ve read. i feel like each character has such a specific personality and history, it’s easy to get sucked back in and remember things. they don’t all blend together. love it.
don’t know if im gonna be interested in the next one bc im honestly just not that into fallon and wyatt, but omggg i hope ava expands this universe cause i wanna read lots more from her 🥹💗
