This is a short catalog which includes an essay by art historian Linda Nochlin and a collection of pictures of Andy Warhol's drawings, paintings, photos, and prints of nudes. Nochlin's merit as an art historian is clear in her succinct, informative, sometimes humorous discussion of Warhol's interest in the nude male body. The images themselves are well-printed, and the art is stunning. Andy Warhol had a strength for working with the human form, often representing it only partially, and always with adept technical skill. Highly recommend this book for anyone interested in Warhol beyond his most well-known work.
