I loved this book. Not the story of Denise Jackson's love for her husband, country singer Alan Jackson (although that figures into it), but the story of her renewal of her faith in God and His work in repairing her marriage. Got a little preachy at times, but was mostly told from the point of view of someone who just had a story to tell that could help others in her situation. She professes ealry on not to have all the answers and doesn't write as if she thinks does. Mainly tells the story of her marriage, warts and all, and how faith helped both she and Alan to strengthen their commitment.
Ane excellent up lifting book. About triumph and redemtion. It was nice to read a true story about someones struggles; where they cared enough to put in the work to overcome. I personally identified a lot with the struggles Denise faced in her own life.
